60 jaar Bergmann opraapwagens - kwaliteit 'Made in Goldenstedt'
Al 60 jaar ontwikkelt en produceert Bergmann opraapwagens. Het bedrijf heeft zijn stempel gedrukt op de graslandtechniek en kenmerkt deze vandaag de dag nog steeds.
In 1963 begon met de T 300 en N 300 het succesverhaal van de Bergmann-opraapwagens. Het snijwerk met een combinatie van vaststaande en roterende messen was uniek. Met deze innovatie konden de opraapwagens met tractors vanaf 15 pk worden gebruikt.
Om de stalmeststrooiers en multifunctionele wagens van de series M 62, M 72 en M 82 breder in te kunnen zetten, werd een aanbouw-opraapapparaat ontwikkeld, waarmee gras, stro, bietbladeren en nog veel meer kon worden geladen.
Voor meer laadvermogen en bodemvrijheid ontwikkelde Bergmann medio jaren 60 de opraapwagen NT 300 met een getrokken pick-up. Optioneel was bij deze opraapwagen ook een zwenkdissel verkrijgbaar, zodat de tractor niet in het midden, maar verplaatst naar het zwad kon rijden.
Eind jaren 60 werden de opraapwagens L 15, L 20 en L 24 met laadvolumes van 8 tot 24 m3 op de markt gebracht. De opraapwagens van de L-serie hadden een snijwerk met maximaal zeven messen en een snijlengte van 190 mm.
Vanwege de zeer positieve reacties op de Bergmann-opraapwagens volgde eind jaren 70 met de Rotomat SL 35 nog een innovatie. De Rotomat beschikte over een gepatenteerd opraapsysteem, met zes gelijkmatig verdeelde transportelementen. Het opraapsysteem werd gekenmerkt door een gering vermogensverbruik en een rustige loop zonder hoge piekkrachten. Dit soort opraapsystemen is de basis van de huidige rotoren van moderne opraapwagens.
Medio jaren 80 volgde met de KLE/KLT en SLE/SLT de volgende generatie opraapwagens. Bij de invoering werd het nieuwe en unieke kamsysteem met een 2/ 3-deling van de kammen voorgesteld.
In 1996 volgde met de Royal de invoering van het 2-rotorsysteem (snij- en persrotor) voor opraap- en silagewagens. Door het snij- en persproces te scheiden, is het aggregaat uniek. Met betrekking tot gering aandrijfvermogen en hoge oogstprestaties alsook voerbescherming is het 2-rotorsysteem onge?venaard. De theoretische snijlengte van 34 mm was en is ook vandaag de dag nog uniek voor de prestatieklasse van de Royal.
In 1998 werden de opraapwagens van de series KLE/KLT en SLE/SLT uitgebreid doorontwikkeld. Bovendien kregen de opraapwagens de nieuwe donkergroene Bergmann-kleur en werden ze vanaf dat moment onder de naam Swing verkocht.
Het productprogramma werd in 1999 uitgebreid met de silagewagens van de HTW-serie voor het gebruik naast veldhakselaars of houthakmachines.
In 2003 volgde ter gelegenheid van de Agritechnica de presentatie van de grote opraapwagens Shuttle met unieke prestatiegegevens. Met een pick-upbreedte van 2,20 m en het snijwerk met 53 messen behoort de Bergmann Shuttle tot de topklasse van de opraapwagens.
Met de Bergmann Raptor werd het opraapwagenprogramma in 2006 gecompleteerd. De grootte van de modellen lag tussen de Royal en de Shuttle.
Voor het gecombineerde gebruik als opraap- en silagewagen presenteerde Bergmann in 2011 de nieuwe Carex-serie. Met de Carex-serie werd een nieuw aandrijfconcept ingevoerd waarbij daar waar nodig draaimomenten tot stand worden gebracht. De Carex-serie is de eerste Bergmann-opraapwagen waarbij de transportbodem vooraan is neergelaten voor een betere doorvoer van het goed en een geringer benodigd vermogen.
Voor Agritechnica 2013 introduceerde Bergmann de combiopraapwagen van de Repex-serie met een laadvolume tot 35 m3. Met 41 messen en een theoretische snijlengte van 35 mm was de Repex toonaangevend in zijn klasse.
In 2017 presenteerde Bergmann de volledig nieuw ontwikkelde series van de Carex- en Shuttle-serie. De opraapwagens met 2.050 mm resp. 2.270 mm brede pick-up kregen standaard een hydraulisch zwenkbare voorwand, waardoor ongeveer 5 m3 meer laadvolume beschikbaar is.
In het jaar 2023 heeft Bergmann het opraapwagenprogramma fundamenteel herzien en zal dit op de Agritechnica in hal 27 bij stand B30 presenteren.
